Fall 2009, the Chloé girl goes back to the 80s: her city is New York with its chic, rarefied, punk but at the same time romantic atmosphere. Everything speaks of a new effortless and uninhibited attitude.

The focus is on contrast: chic tailored jackets with defined shoulders and oversized coats have a soft touch and are worn with sensual satin shirts and leather belt around the waist.  Pants have a loose sporty chic but are combined with sexy stiletto pumps.

Masculine fabrics such as tweed, wools, jersey and leather are blended with delicate pleas, bijoux frills and bows to create a soft silhouette and a romantic appeal. Nevertheless incrusted swarovski diamonds in bows and stripes used randomly or in a linear motif create the punk couture feeling.

Understated luxury is the ultimate message of the Chloé girl: chain incrustations, facetted stones, enamelled military buttons on coats, as well as double face blanket capes in muted tones underline her chic orientation.

Electric colours are balanced by warm tones, so that inky blues meet tweed colours, nude tones and faded blacks generating a new chromatic sensation.

And when the night comes, it is time for light romantic dresses with delicate pleats or frills in sheer tones.
