Founded in 1997 by Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Taylor, as a premium designer, marketer and wholesaler of sexy, sophisticated basics for women, Juicy Couture is recognized around the world as a leading contemporary brand of casual lifestyle clothing. The flattering, slender fit of the products, the price points, the exclusive distribution and the loyal celebrity following have all played an important role in shaping the brand. In 2003, Juicy Couture was acquired by Liz Claiborne Inc., creating a unique and exciting partnership. Later that year, Juicy Couture launched the men's collection and children's apparel. In 2004, Juicy Couture Accessories and Juicy Beach Swimwear launched and Juicy Couture opened its first retail store in Las Vegas. In 2005, both shoes and sunglasses were launched, as well as Couture Couture, an upscale designer collection. In 2006, watches and fragrance were launched.

The design concept of the store showcases the brand's creative identity and its position within the fashion world - think modern fairytale...girl meets rock star and they move into an old English manor house to become "Juicy Royalty". With a mix of old stripped down French antiques, lush colors, hardwood floors and modern showpieces such as glass, mirrors and mirror-finish metals, as well as tall glass jars filled to the brim with candies and treats, the store has a fun, yet rich luxurious appeal. The perfect balance of old English charm with the glam, Juicy Couture sense of humour.

The La Perle store houses the Juicy Couture collections which includes: Juicy Couture as well as accessories which include handbags, jewelry, sunglasses, shoes. The store has been planned as a single informal space with most of the merchandise located on the walls. The centerpiece of the store is a long glass table inspired by the archetypal girl's dressing table - a home for makeup, clothing, candy, jewelry, etc. The table's glass top has been treated as a canvas for Juicy Couture graphics and its transparency allows for a selection of Juicy accessories.

Founded in Los Angeles, Juicy Couture designs fun, wearable fashion, and materials within the store were chosen to express the iconic nature of the Juicy Couture brand. Iconic Juicy Couture graphics and slogans are literally set in stone, or etched glass, as testaments to their timelessness.
